Roadside Cottage is located in the pretty village of St Brides Major,
in the Vale of Glamorgan.
A two minute walk brings you to a shop, post office and the Fox & Hounds
pub. Slightly further on is the Farmer's Arms overlooking the village
pond. Both pubs serve good food. The village also boasts a tasteful gift
shop. ··· Walkers will relish the area, not only for the 14
mile Heritage Coast path, but also for the numerous walks from the
cottage across fields and open countryside. The sandy, surfing beach at
Southerndown is only 1.5 miles by foot, 2 miles by car.

Lots of activities are only a short drive away - golf, horse-riding, sea
fishing and surfing, not forgetting traditional resorts such as
Porthcawl, Barry and Penarth.

are only 20 miles west of Cardiff, with its exciting waterfront bay
development; and 20 miles east of Swansea and Mumbles.
